Engine here soon!
Heard from our engine builder last night that he was on the way to send our motor back, finally! He does do the work in his own spare time so it’s understandable it will take a little longer than if he were doing it full-time, its just a little hard to not get anxious about it when it’s been gone for a month and you cant drive your kart 
He did say he was very happy with the way it measured up in the end and it should go pretty well, so hopefully it turns out to be a good engine… In the practice we did before sending it off for blueprinting it was a dog. A good time at Bolivar for Senior National Light is mid 39’s, I couldnt get below 43’s.
The kart did have old tires on it (12 months old), unblueprinted motor and carb, crappy cheap spark plug and my driving wasnt fantastic. Hopefully this weekend we’ll be able to get down to the mid 40’s at least with some decent tires on it and the motor work done, but it will take a couple of weekends to loosen up anyway.
